It's the holiday season, and for the month of December we are getting in the Christmas spirit.  We are discussing non-traditional Christmas movies! This episode we dive into 2 Tim Burton classics.  We discuss the gothic fairy tale EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, and then a movie that has been brought up more times than we can count on this show, BATMAN RETURNS. For the month of the March, we embark upon our new theme by discussing 2 films made by female directors! First we delve into the 1987 vampire western NEAR DARK, which was directed by Academy Award Winning director Kathryn Bigelow, and contains a fun performance by the late Bill Paxton.  Then we delve into the French coming of age story GIRLHOOD, which was directed by CĂ©line Sciamma.
